The CIO's roles and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Assist District and Land Office of Ipoh in performing tasks involving ICT security;

2. Determining the security requirements of ICT;

3. Develop and coordinate the implementation of training plans and awareness programs on ICT security; And

4. Responsible for matters pertaining to the safety of Ipoh Land and District Office ICT
